Pinnacle Reports Overview

Pinnacle Reports provides a visualization of our primary reports, in order to create a more comprehensive view of our data. There are eight report categories produced, based upon the selected location(s) and specified timeframe.

Visitation

The Visitation shows visitor density within a location.  Having this unique bird's eye view helps you identify commonly visited areas within a location, during a specified time period. This is great for retailers interested in managing merchandising and store experience, and also gives real estate professionals insight into well-performing tenants in shopping centers.

Additional Features:  The document image in the top right corner of the chart provides additional options in the drop-down menu.  In the bottom left corner, you can select “Gray Map” to change the visualization to a Street or Satellite view.

Visitation Times - Day of Week and Time of Day

These charts help you identify peaks and valleys of visitation by day of week or time of day.  These insights are produced by referencing the timestamp of the visit and can assist with determining staffing levels, advertising effectiveness and operational efficiencies.

Mobile Trade Area

This shape is your location's trade area, based on the origin points and routes taken by your visitors.  It is derived using 70% of visitors' path to purchase, Common Evening Location (CEL), and Common Daytime Location (CDL) points to draw a core trade area around the study location. While traditional trade areas use a standard 1-3-5 mile radius ring or drive time to identify potential visitors, a mobile trade area identifies actual visitors to the property to form its shape. This is powerful for understanding possible store cannibalization, site selection and competitive analysis.

This chart helps you understand the socio-economic makeup of your visitor.  It provides household-level demographics on visitors at your location based on their common evening location, and how they compare against the region (DMA) and country.

Additional Features:  The drop-down arrow in the top right corner of the chart provides additional demographic medians.  The “Market Baseline” displays data averages within the same industry of the identified location (i.e. a fast food restaurant would display medians within the food service industry).  The “Country Baseline” provides data averages within the country selected (i.e. the United States in the above example).
